[0:30:38]Aimil Winter-Wolf
Having just docked at the Ascension station, the young princess walks out of the shuttle with a long, red dress on as she is after all meeting a noble of the Caledonian Empire with the interest of seeing, let alone interacting with the sentimental dreadnaught ship and must dress for the occasion. Though Aimil doesn't have anything against long flowing dresses, she just feels as though it is not her kind of style but she is representing her father's empire so must dress properly when the situation calls for it and a dinner with a noble is one of those situations. Being a few minutes early she and her escort headed towards the lounge where Aimil just began talking nonstop of how excited she is to her guards. She needs to get all this excitement out somehow and better to annoy the men who have sworn to keep her safe than some random stranger.
[0:33:55]
Lady Mairis Veridias walked through the halls of Ascension Station, lost in thought, her Crimson Mustang escorts following close, wary of all. She happened to pass by another birth and glanced out the window, doing a double take. The ship before her was beautiful, clunky, but beautiful. It was a Jaenia Class Dreadnought, and she was in love. On it's hull, wrought in black paint, was a roaring dragon, his claws ending in gun emplacements. Under the dragon was red war paint, which weaved into intricate designs. Her hand was resting on the glass, her eyes wide in wonder. She turned to a passing Deckhand, stopping him with a gentle grasp. "Excuse me, do you know who her captain is?" She asked. The boy looked out the window and shrugged. "I dunno ma'am, so far as I know, she doesn't have a captain." He said, bowing and continuing with his work. She turned back to the ship, her eyes taking in every detail. She could hear the excited chattering of a lady nearby and turned, making herself presentable. She too was wearing a red dress, though this one had considerably more decor, golden dragons flowing up her waist and onto her chest. Her wings twitched, more curious than anything.
[0:47:54]Aimil Winter-Wolf
Looking over her shoulder she sees the woman in the red dress and almost instantly recalls of the picture she was shown in order to help find the woman when she boarded the station. With a kind smile upon her face, she stood up and made her approach, commanding her guards to be at ease as she does this. "Lady Mairis Veridias may I assume?" She asks with a formal tone almost nothing like the girl who was chatting away endlessly just a few moments ago as she held out her hand offering the Lady a polite handshake. "I would like at first thank you for accepting my invitation for dinner and second for the tour of the sentimental ship you own. It is such an honor."
[0:56:58]
Lady Mairis Veridias sputters, softly, her eyes wide. Dinner? Tour? She hadn't been notified of such a thing. She took the hand and shook it numbly. "You would be correct, I am Lady Mairis Veridias, High Protector of Ptolus." She said, keeping her voice from cracking. "I would like to start us off by regretffuly informing you that the ship I owned not too long ago has been lost." She said, right as her communicator chirped. "I'm sorry, this'll only take a moment." she said turning away, her wings level, but as she listened to the message, her wings began to quiver with barely suppressed glee. Nodding and shutting off the device, she turned back to the woman. "I won't be able to give you a tour of the Sabre, but I will be able to give you a tour of my latest ship." She said, gesturing out at the much larger ship, much bigger than the Sabre in fact. "It will be an illuminating tour for the both of us. But first, the decision is up too you, Eat first or do the tour first Miss.....?" She asked, having received no name from the woman.
[1:09:09]
Aimil Winter-Wolf blinks some noticing the woman's confusion some. Didn't Adam schedule this meeting...? Her thoughts suddenly being interrupted with the news of the ship she was so excited to see for the past couple of days to be lost... Who just loses a sentimental ship?! Wouldn't that be something to make sure wouldn't get lost? Suspicion began to creep in the young girl's mind as she dwindles on these thoughts before the mention of a tour on her latest ship. Well it is best not to be rude. "Of course... Sounds delightful." She replies smiling before finishing off her sentence. "Winter-Wolf. Aimil Winter-Wolf."
[2:40:45]
Riza Solstheim leaned against a wall, a flickering flame dancing between her fingers. The Akkadian soldier was tired. For her, the discipline it took to control her flames was stressful. But as part of her training, she had learned the rules, and although arson was not specifically listed in them at first, before her graduation, she had been made a special exception. She didn't really care what people thought if she did break the rules, but it would mean that she wouldn't be able to do her preferred works, the missions which interrupted this boredom, ones that required her special skills. She managed a weak smile, as the she imagined the challenge of channeling her abilities on an anti-personnel scale. Hopefully, those raging flames would be given reason to rise within her soon.
[2:59:52]
The God Emperor wandered the halls of the palace, having returned shortly after the whole ordeal with his daughter. Some things had to be discussed over the growing tension between the Caledonians and Kaellan Empire, open conflict already underway so some decisions and possibilities had to be discussed just in case. On the way back from one of these meetings he spotted Riza, a soldier with a tendency of setting things ablaze but there were a few among his ranks that way and he had grown rather fond of the girl. He approached, offering her a nod, his silent guard lurking a couple of feet behind. "Greetings, Riza. What brings you here?" he questioned, wondering if she had finished her last assignment already.
[3:01:43]Aurelia DeOrzen
"But Hierarch! You read the report of our most recent engagement, there can be no pea-" Shed stop as the slender figure on the view screen raised her hand to signify she should be silent, especialy given shed just questioned one of the Solarin directly and by extension the ruling Solarin council, a mistake others before her had made with less than pleasent results. "It is settled matriarch, you are to take the Expeditionary force to Caledon Prime and personally oversee negotiations. You are not to fire unless fired upon and should negotiations fail you are to ensure the destruction of the Titan though this is ONLY to happen should negotiations fail due to Caledonian behavior. Are we clear?" the woman on the view screen would ask as Aurelia softly cursed under her breath...take a war fleet...the entire Expeditionary force to Caledon Prime...this was either going to end the war peacefully, or Caledon Prime would be reduced to cinders - the latter of which she had mixed feelings about given it had been her home for some time in this galaxy. "Your will be done Hierarch!" shed respond as the communication ended with her bowing in a salute to the female figure as the veiwscreen cut off as did the entire bridge staff. "Signal the fleet, we leave imediatly." shed order, though it would potentialy take a few minutes given the sheer size of the expeditionary force and the suddeness of the orders...
[3:07:36]
Riza Solstheim quickly extinguished her flame, putting her hands at her side, in a weak impression of the military discipline she had ignored in training, as the regal voice of the God Emperor reached her ears. His was a position that demanded respect none of her so-called seniors could earn. They had all taught her nothing: her flames had always been her own. But the Emperor, he was different, similarly gifted, a man of such talent they called him God. She found not jealousy in that, but immense respect, that someone with such a burden could wield such authority. As a result, her form shook with nervousness and her voice trembled - traits that could not be inspired by the most intimidating enemy. "Uh... my greetings Your Excellency, I am simply waiting for my next assignment, sir."
[3:15:59]
The God Emperor stared down at the woman and her anxious behavior, he was a kind man but not in public. He had an image to keep so among others he was always stoic and controlled, never a smile, never a frown but even so his presence was nothing short than overwhelming. "At ease. And you wish another already? I can look into giving you one however I'd like you prepared to return here or our forward bases along the borders as there seems to be tension building between Caledon and Kaellan Empire. We are not allies of either and personally I'm not a very big fan of the Caledon Ruler but an open war could mean great opportunities for the Imperium."
[3:21:14]
Lady Mairis Veridias sat aboard her new ship, tapping a display. Her guest was still on board, but she was anxious to get underway. "Helm, what's the status of the engines?" She asked. The helmsman checked his screens, turning to her. "All green ma'am." he said. She nodded and sat in her chair. "Very good, alert our guest that we'll be departing Ascension soon." She said. He nodded and did as he was commanded. The engines came to life, the docking clamps releasing and the ship leaving the station. She nodded approvingly, feeling only a small vibration in the deck. "Hmm yes, very nice." She murmured, this ship was leagues better than the Sabre and she was very pleased with it. The ship powered it's way through the void, cannons pivoting as their operators tested them. She gave a silent signal, the ship making a short hop at FTL, then returning, hovering in orbit, the roaring dragon proudly displayed.
[3:24:13]
Riza Solstheim let herself rest a little at the mythical man's words, though in his presence, she found it impossible not to maintain a veneer of formality, as awkward and unfamiliar as it was to her. However other reasons fueled the girl's anxiety, besides the God Emperor, like the restlessness such peace caused her. Naturally, as the God's words turned to matters of war, her eyes began to glimmer with excitement, though it was barely visible in her nervous condition. She knew little of interstellar politics, but if it involved burning people, she was interested. "I'd be honoured to help sir. It'd be great to help you in your plans, uh, sir."
[3:31:49]
The God Emperor offered a slight nod before starting to walk and gesture the woman to follow. Olstrava taking a few steps back to allow the two a certain degree of privacy. The God-Emperor enjoyed to speak with young people, they always reminded him of his daughters which he never mentioned because in the end they had defected to their rival nation which made him furrow his brows for a split second at the thought before glancing down at the girl. "Good. You'll come with me then for now. Perhaps you would even so kind to take my place in this dreadfully boring meetings... anyway, tell me about you, soldier. Anything will do, we have to shorten the walk somehow and it is good to know your subordinates."
[3:42:34]
Riza Solstheim hastily strode opposite the Emperor, surprised that she was getting such favorable treatment. It was like she had fantasised: someone so talented would not feel jealousy of her talents, but admiration, like she did for the legendary figure herself. She began blushing slightly, as she noticed the royal confidants giving them space. Such respect was unfamiliar, yet welcome, she guessed. The whole experience was rather unusual. Riza's blush only intensified as the topic of conversation turned to herself. She had never really talked much about herself. "Uh, well I don't have much to say about me you don't already know sir. I specialise in my fire magic. Back on my home planet, I was pretty much on my own, my magic helped separate me from the pack, and they never much welcomed me. If I wasn't here, I'd probably just be farming, there's not much else I could've walked into, never much of a scholar. Um... I don't have much to say, I'm more of a burner than a talker, sir.
[3:53:13]
The God Emperor while having an aura that made him feel untouchable, an height that could never be reached that was not the case. As many of the men who had closer contact or interacted more with the Emperor they all knew he liked to mingle with the rest, get their life stories, learn more about them even their daily life and struggles. All that only contributed to that insane loyalty some showed to him, especially since the previous God-Emperor was almost the opposite. "Reading from a spreadsheet and hearing it from the person are very different. Yes, I know how hard it is to be seen as different, people at first fear you for your abilities. Then they become jealous but eventually you they come to respect you... if you show them the same. Now tell me about your last assignment, how did it go?"
[3:57:17]
Aurelia DeOrzen took a breath as she looked down at her console at the indication that the fleet stood ready to make the jump...this was going to be intresting for sure no doubt given a fleet this size had not been seen outside of Kallean space for some time...if ever. "All vessels, this is Fleet Matriarch DeOrzen, make the jump on our signal." Shed order as she nodded to the helm as alarm claxxons for jump prep began to sound, moments later a blinding flash would overtake the vessel as it slipped from view...Its entrance would be like none other as it tore into existence just beyond the range of the Caledonian orbital defensive grid...followed by another, and another as the rift jumps began to accelerate until sensors would report the fleet had made the jump...all 854 Imperator class warbirds were formed up and waiting, silently with shields up though weapons remained unlocked for the time being as she awaited the Caledonian's response, this would no doubt get the attention of the Emperor directly...
[4:02:39]
Riza Solstheim began to feel a little more comfortable as the pair walked, the Emperor's words strengthening the fondness she had for the Akkadian legend. His understanding, to her at least, was clearly as brilliant as his much more chronicled strength and influence. Feeling such confidence in a person was alien to the girl, but to her, regardless of what some said, he was beyond reproach, deserving of the title God Emperor. In fact, she had little doubt that even among gods he would be an emperor. "Thank you sir. The mission went well enough. I dispatched with the rebels who defiled your name. As requested, there were no survivors. They were not ready for my flames and I didn't give them the chance to adapt." She smiled softly at her own appreciation of the efficiency of her work. The value of people like herself and the Emperor were worth more than the common man and when such souls offered themselves to help hone Riza's artistry, she could never say no.
[4:04:37]
Lorelyn Avera stretched her legs out as she lie upon the stone slab, an airy mat made of bamboo to keep cool in the balm of the summer all that lay between her and the smooth surface. It had been perhaps three weeks since she ordered her armor, and still she wondered if the blacksmith would be able to deliver for her this day. After preparing, she set out in her regular civilian clothing as she had for some time, courtesy of the tailor she stayed with on small coin, and headed toward the smithy near by. It was an unusually hot day, but the humidity was manageable, so perspiration was minimal. There, she stood at the ordinarily busy smithy's, and noticed that few others were around the place; perhaps that would prove favorable in her attempt to chat with him. "Hello," she called calmly towards a side door-way, away from the outer stall, "it's Lorelyn .. is a blacksmith present for my query?"
[4:05:18]
Lady Mairis Veridias looked up as alarms blared. She glanced at her pad, eyes going wide at the massive fleet arrayed on it. "By the gods." She whispered. Looking up, she rose. "Summon the fleets! Tell them to return to Caledon with haste." She she ordered. "Helm, bring us about and set us on an intercept course." She said. The helmsman nodded, turning his wheel as the ship came about, her cannons trained on the fleet. "If they came to say hello, this is the wrong way." She muttered. The Arch-Angel's silence drifted through space, stopping a good distance from the lead ship, practically nose to nose with it. "Hail them." She said, the Comms officer nodding and opening a channel. "This is Captain Mairis Veridias of the Caledonian Empire Dreadnought Arch-Angel's Silence. State your purpose or you will be fired upon." She said, her voice not wavering at all, her tone commanding. She stood there, arms crossed behind her back, leg parted and her wings held out to keep her balanced. On her hip was her sword and Bolt Pistol, both for ceremonial purposes and for combat. To punctuate her words, the rest of the fleets popped into orbit behind her, answering the call, forming up behind her ship.
[4:15:30]
Aurelia DeOrzen glared slightly as the Caledonian fleet formed up...turth be told she was slightly eager for an engagement after the orders to withdraw during the last one but this was not her purpose, instead a simple 'If we had meant to destroy you, you would be ashes.' would be sent via text display to the ship that had contacted them...other than that nothing...simple silence as the war fleet remained suspended there in orbit ready for combat at a moments notice. "Im going down, Keep me informed." shed order as she activated her teleportation matrix along with two of the metal centurions to serve as an escort...granted she knew as the golden ripples of energy overtook her form the Caledonians would no doubt trace it to the surface but then again she halfway didnt care, this had gone on long enough. She was unsure of what would be awaiting her as she appeared a short distance from the Imperial palace with a Centurion on either side, and although civilians scrambled to get into thier homes and the street emptied out she made no move, nor gave the centurions orders to fire as she began to walk in the direction of the palace...
[4:15:38]
The God Emperor once more offered a nod, he wasn't the biggest fan of simply purging those who disagreed with him, that was a remnant of the previous Emperor and his way of doing things, a way that had caused a decline on the governments hold over all their subjects, something that they were still having issues this far into his rule but he could not scold the girl about how she dealt with them. He preferred to take the rebels alive but these rebels had already caused a couple of deaths not to mention he knew it wouldn't be good for her morale or over all behavior to reprimand in this instance. He'd leave the lecturing for some other time. "Good job, as expected. Although I was not concerned about what they said about me but rather what they had done to the local community, those acts were the true crime."
A royal guard approached the Emperor, by the looks of it someone trusted as Olstrava didn't flinch from his position to stop the man from coming near Balthazar. Him and the guard exchanged a couple of words and he went back as fast as he came, a slight shift in expression demonstrated the news were something of note. "Riza, feel like going on a trip? We may have fireworks to watch."
[4:21:09]
Lucienne Archer was at the helm of her ship, the SC Avius. The ship was making preparations to jump to Caledon Prime from a rendezvous planet that bordered the two empire's territory. The recently elected Supreme Chancellor had scheduled a meeting with the Caledonians, but a for sure date was never decided. Logistics had given the Caledonians a rough month long window as to when she would appear, and it was just on the forward portion of such a window that she was able to. They had much to discuss, and she had ten years minimum to do it. The ship enters it's jump gate and is sent off on it's journey through the crumpled time-space rift that would get them to the Caledon Capital. Upon arrival, she was greeted with something other than the open space and various civilian ships she was expecting. She saw a number, which clearly wasn't a good thing. 854 unidentified ships were hanging in space. Much to her chagrin, she was partially in the crossfire. The jump that she had come out of placed her off to the side of two fleets, facing each other. Her ship was big enough to attract attention, and her fleet that had come with her was of noticeable amount, but they were no where near the number of the two empires. Hopefully the hundreds of Caledonians, and hundreds of 'them' wouldn't consider her to be on either side. "Coordinate point defense and shields to block any projectiles from the fleets that would hit one of us. Transmit the diplomat signal to both fleets. If fired upon, start the afterburners and get us behind that planet. If not, then bring us to Ascension. This could escalate. Quickly." And slowly, but surely, the over-sized battleship and it's fleet of a meager one hundred begin to form into a defensive formation.
[4:23:19]
Lady Mairis Veridias cursed as the teleport sensors blipped softly. "Ready my ship, and tell the Crimson Mustangs to be ready to depart the moment I get there." She said as she strode from the bridge. "XO, you have the Com." She said, the man snapping a crisp salute. She stalked through the halls, heading for the hanger. 'Why would a fleet of that size appear and do nothing?' she thought. Shaking her head as she entered the hanger, she climbed into a transport, the Tibyn Arytissi falling in behind her and strapping in. The transport rocket from the Silence, heading straight for the palace. Upon breaching the atmosphere, it leveled out and pulled into a hover at the very ledge where she had talked to the Emperor, lowering the ramp and letting her disembark. She made her way to the throne room, and sent a servant off to roust the Emperor, this was much to delicate for her to handle. She waited beside the throne as her comm unit chirped, the XO hailing her. "Ma'am, another fleet just warped in, they seem to be neutral, your orders?" he asked. "Leave them be and welcome them to Caledon, please assure them that the situation is being handled accordingly." She ordered, shutting the device off.
[4:23:57]
Riza Solstheim nodded her head in understanding. It wasn't really her place to understand the politics behind her actions, only to complete them and as the fairly apathetic person she was, it suited her well. Truly, the role of soldier was one befitting her, as long as she didn't have to work with too many people in the process. Fireworks were a luxury Riza could never much appreciate - her own were far more impressive - but she had got the hint and if it meant more corpses had to be burned, she wanted to be there. Besides, an invitation from the God Emperor was not one she could say no to. "Yes sir, it would be a pleasure."
[4:36:43]
The God Emperor wasted no time in getting prepared to leave, quickly boarding his massive dreadnought 'The Arc' it was his personal warship and one of the biggest and most powerful not only in Akkadia but among all vessels currently active. He took a seat at the throne that acted as the command chair and ordered his man to take him to the border between Caledonian and Akkadian space where he would wait and see how things played out. His fleet warping in behind him, a dangerous number but it could be he was concerned to be the next target for attack. "Welcome aboard, Solstheim. Find a seat, this will likely take some time." now with many people around the God-Emperor persona took over. He had to appear and act as their absolute Emperor.
The men she had sent to the Emperor having done it's job and it would appear like Balthazar acted in record speed even though the case was he already knew of the tension and was ready for something like this. A message being sent personally to his daughter as images of the field were being fed to him from a small scout ship that observed the stand off. "Care to explain what is going on, Mairis? Should I be concerned those ships will be turning in my direction any time soon?"
[4:42:46]
Lady Mairis Veridias jumped slightly as she received a message. Looking down, she saw that it was from her father and played it. Rolling her eyes, she opened a direct link and spoke softly. "Dearest father, I haven't the faintest idea what is happening, other than the massive fleet that warped right onto my doorstep." she said. "And I would hope they turned on you, perhaps they'd give your empire a clean slate, a fresh start. Wouldn't that be nice?" She said, switching it off and tapping her foot, where was Brennus, she worried that perhaps he had left without telling her, and that she would be the one to handle this. She wasn't sure she could.
[4:43:52]
Winter-Wolf had been well aware of the fact that the Kalleans had arrived, and had been waiting for Aurelia which was why he had ordered for no one to fire on the Kalleans. While the defense fleets, and the Tibyn Arytissi fleets in orbit above Caledon Prime had formed up before the Kalleans, equal in number, they did not fire, only taking up defensive positions. Brennus himself was sitting on the Dragon Throne, watching the main doors of Dragonsreach, knowing that Aurelia would arrive soon. He had been anticipating this for some time, and keeping the unknown enemy in mind, he and the most powerful mages in the empire had reinforced the barriers around Dragonsreach, Ptolus, as well as around the planet. As for the Solarasi ships, they would naturally be given clearance to dock at Ascension Starport, as it was the only installation with the facilities to accommodate their small fleet.<E>
[4:49:45]The God Emperor
"Spare me me of your misguided hatred. And if you are not aware there was a battle between the two forces yesterday which is what this is likely about, not doing your homework, Mairis? I'll spare you of the comments about what your dear King has been up to and what he has to Kaellan Empire. Inform him if he requires a neutral location for discussion I'll be happy to provide it." he continued to just watch, head resting on his fist as it was propped up on the arm of his golden throne. Quite interested in seeing how this would all play out.
[5:00:20]
Lucienne Archer wondered by what chance this would happen. Three empires arriving at the same place within hours of each other. Of course, the Akkadian's received some less than appropriate comments, which would inherently come from their society, but nothing physical. The others...Kallean is what Logistics had uncovered, were simply dead. No movement other than the bare minimum to show that they were actually manned. Of course, she rather felt bad for whom ever was in command of security of the planet, star base, and Emperor, because this was surely in their nightmares. An excellent time for Logistics to observe tactics and CoI to join them. Their matters though, didn't hinder her from her main purpose of being here. "We have been cleared for dock with the Ascension, all fleets continue to dock. Hold defensive formation until out of LoF. Squad leaders confirm with CD." she calmly says into the link that would broadcast her message to the fleet around her. Of course, there was side chatter going around like crazy, mostly because of the presence of the Kallean and Akkadian empires. Lucienne, however, wanted to get down to the surface as quickly as possible. Hopefully the spaceport would have at least some form of communication with the Emperors command. She wanted more details as to what exactly was happening. Usually a message of 'The situation is being handled accordingly' meant 'We are currently thinking of a way to deal with the situation'. "Communications, get me the Ascension and see if we can get a heads up on what exactly is happening. Don't request the Emperor unless they offer. If they offer, accept. If not, get me the Head of Secur..." Wait, they call it High Protector here. "Get me the High Protector, or someone with answers, but don't be too pushy". There wasn't any need to be nosy, nor to push the relations even a little. While everyone on board the fleet was itching for answers, there was no need to look eager. First impressions tend to mean a lot.
[5:19:40]
Aurelia DeOrzen continued until she came to the palace doors, and although nothing seemed to be in her way she would pause momentarily to allow the centurions a brief scan of the area as she flexed her wrist to activate the blade of energy from her subdermal implant on her right wrist, one could never be too carefull after all. Nothing else would be said as she walked within the palace in the direction of the throne room, it was curiose really to her she would even be allowed within along with her centurion escort. It wasn't until she would at last reach the entrance to the throne room that she would pause as she placed her left hand on the door in preparation to enter...
[5:22:59]
Lady Mairis Veridias looked back as her Tibyn Arytissi filtered in, taking up positions in the shadows. She nodded and turned to Brennus. "They're just outside." She said softly, her nervousness evaporating now that he was here. She straightened her back, squared her shoulders and put on her most commanding face, her wings flexing, prepared for flight. She stood right next to the throne, a position of honor.
[5:34:49]
Aimil Winter-Wolf sighs looking out of a port window at the fleet of ships they are facing. "I blame the dress..." She mumbles referring to her chat with the guards of how wearing a dress gives her bad luck that no one would be able to make the connection too since none of the guards near her were part of her escort. Well there isn't much she can do here and Lady Mairis is probably busy dealing with this situation so all there is to do for her is sit and wait.
[5:37:26]
Lady Mairis Veridias suddenly remembered her guest and frantically stepped away, tapping away on her comms, ordering that she be returned to the palace as soon as possible, it wouldn't do for the princess to be killed in a hull breach or gods forbid, captured by the enemy.
[5:38:27]
Winter-Wolf chuckles "I already knew Mairis, and she is here to talk, nothing more, but keep your eyes peeled, if there is to be an attempt to cause battle, it will be the mysterious enemy that caused this conflict in the first place" as he leaned back in his throne. His senses were at their most focused and he was keenly aware of everything around him, and he knew that if the unknown enemy was to strike, it would be when he and Aurelia were in the same room. He doubted that they would attack the fleets in orbit and be able to make it seem like one or the other fired first, since the Caledonians were obviously in defense, not attack formations. So that left only one option, and that was to attack him or Aurelia, and he doubted that the enemy knew his or Aurelia's capabilities, since he rarely showed his fighting skills in public, and Aurelia was the same.<E>
[5:41:33]
Lady Mairis Veridias nodded, returning to her post beside him. "I will my lord." She said simply, scanning the room with her eyes, leaving no nook or cranny un touched. She tensed and breathed deeply, readying herself.
[5:45:11]
Aurelia DeOrzen was honestly near shaking as she hesitated for a moment longer before she finally took in a deeo breath and steadied herself as she shoved the doors open and walked in, energy blade primed and at the ready as she walked with the metal centurions humming with each movement along side her as they scanned the room as well. "Hello Brennus..." Shed begin as she flicked her wrist for a moment to deactivate her energy blade, though the centurions would remain with thier cannons out and at the ready on either arm incase something were to go down with the Caledonians or thier yet unknown foe. "I believe this conflict has cost too many lives on both sides already, and I long to return home if you will have me." shed begin as she steadied herself...it was obviously difficult for her given what all had occurred, and the part of her simply wanting to rush to him fighting the other part that spoke caution to her thoughts, there was a lot to answer for no doubt.
[5:50:14]Aimil Winter-Wolf
"Welp, seems like it's my time to go..." She says with a sigh, standing up and turning her back to the window walking with her escort to a ship bay. "Knew we should've had dinner first..." She mumbled some, keeping her own spirits at least somewhat high through her idle mumblings though she does understand the dire situation they are possibly in but this is a big ship and can more than likely take a huge beating before anything crucial happening. Once in the ship bay, her escort takes her into one of the shuttles with only about half coming in with her and the other half staying within the Angel as to help with whatever Lady Mairis needs. "Give Lady Mairis my regards please." Aimil says to one of the guards with a light smile for which that guard gave a slight nod before the door of the shuttle closes completely and a few minutes later is being launched down to Caledon on her way home.
[5:50:38]
Winter-Wolf looks at Aurelia and smiled "I know Aurelia, that's why we have only ever fought defensively during this mess, and of course you are welcome back, my best agents have been working non-stop to uncover the enemy that instigated this conflict, and I agree, it is time to end this situation and bring about peace between us once again, and I shall not ask for compensation as neither of us are to blame, however, I must ask that those that killed innocent civilians simply for trying to defend their rights be put on trial, I do not hold you accountable for that my love, for I know you would not have condoned it had you been consulted" as he looked at Aurelia. Even as he spoke, he had placed up his most basic defensive spell, which used water molecules in the air to detect intruders. Nothing could become completely undetectable, not in an atmosphere, and this spell could not be detected conventionally as it was a passive detection spell, and anyone moving to attack would displace water molecules as they moved about.<E>
[5:55:58]
Aurelia DeOrzen offered a smile as she reached up to brush a non existent hair behind her ear, he knew her well enough to tell her signs of when she was nervouse and that was a dead giveaway...or when she was unsure of what to do with herself as in times such as this. "I would agree except for it was the prison centurions, they are programmed to react if fired upon, and they were fired upon first by military grade weaponry that we are unsure of how they acquired." shed explain, at last the truth of the incident was to be known for all instead of the simple cover story provided to galactic news. "It is good to be home." shed offer as her centurions continued to rotate from side to side in a sweeping motion with their auto cannons at the ready, it seemed Brennus wasn't the only one anticipating something going down although they were alone, save for the Caledonians for the time being and her own centurions providing escort.
