19:50:37 [Gorim-Godsbeard] †- Six baren worlds, desolate wastelands who's surfaces are devoid of life play home to the newest power in the Galaxy. Beneath the surface billions of orks toil at forging weapons of war. Massive warships rising from dead worlds to float in the vaccum of space. By this time hundreds of thousands of ships had been produced and now hoved lifelessly above the Nine worlds. With such a massive number of vessels one might think that Gorim was preparing for war. No there could be nothing further from his mind. Most of the warships that had been produced by Orcs were for sale. Plans, schematics and blueprints were sold to Clusium in partial payment for production. Orcs worked hard, were ungodly strong and numerous, their labor cheap. With Dwarven oversight production of Clusium was among the finest. Currently Gorim was preparing to leave his Home world of Xith on a diplomatic mission. exploratory forces were being dispatched to find more trade partners and stir up new business. Currently peace had settled over <C>
19:52:43 [Gorim-Godsbeard] the galaxy, though an uneasy peace, it was never the less not the strife and blood shed searched for by arms dealers and privateers. Gorim had intentions of feeling out the political atmosphere and trying to prod diplomacy in the direction most profitable for his Civilization.
21:17:54 [Gorim-Godsbeard] †- Long and bulky the Dwarven spacecraft were not designed for maneuverability. Utilizing the readily available adamantium and ceramite deposits found on several of the Forge planets, ships were made to be durable and produce vast amounts of heavy firepower. On board the Ars Machina priests were punching in the coordinates for a neutral meeting place with the Caldonian Emperor. Gorim was seated on the bridge, Golden hues illuminating his visage gazing out across the star studded cosmos. No one knew how far the Dwarven King saw, those close to him swore it was farther than mortal man dare gaze. A translucent aura began to envelope the C.S.S APEX distorting the space around them, engines roared as the thrusters began to cause the ship to lurch. Temporal distortion engines whirled under the guidance of the Machina Priests. Existence it's self opened a yawning chasm of transdiemenional energy beckoning the ship. Once outside of temporal existence the ship had no relative place in space. Just as the<C>
21:24:47 [Gorim-Godsbeard] ship had exited the corporeal plane, so it entered again with a roar of immaterial energies. Returning, instantaneous to it's departure this was how the Dwarves accomplished faster that light travel and crossed the galaxy. After a few moments of thruster burn, pushing the ship slowly though temporal space they entered orbit above a densely forested moon in neutral space. A retreat had been built, and secured by both Clusian and Caldonian troops. Send a message to Emperor Winter Wolf, Make him aware of our arrival, and Begin departure Protocol. Crossing the vastness of space took moments, disembarking to planet surface took hours. Precise calculation for atmospheric entry had to be made, the vessel deployed under specific conditions to allow for a safe voyage to the surface, not only for his Highness, but for his entourage as well.
21:32:13 Emperor_Winter-Wolf had arrived several hours before hand on board his own personal ship, a specially modified Odin-class super-dreadnought, the C.I.S. Dragon Eye. Its coloring was that of the Imperial Family, which meant it was done in the white and silver of Clan Winter-Wolf. It was escorted by several destroyers and frigates, since this was neutral space held and patrolled by the formidable I.N.L.E.D. space forces. He was already in the meeting chamber waiting for Gorim to arrive, reflecting on the irony that this place was so rarely used. Two of his personal guard, the Custodes Legatus, stood behind him, silent and watchful of everything around them. Brennus was dressed in a simpler form of the Imperial Robes, these designed for comfort and functionality rather than ceremony. He was wondering what Gorim intended, since the dwarven king had requested this meeting in the first place. He had known of an attempt by a previous Caledonian Emperor to annex Clusium territory before, but the man had not<C>
21:34:21 Emperor_Winter-Wolf <C>been any sort of strategist, and the Caledonian forces had been beaten back repeatedly. That emperor had then been taken before the Council of Lords and found guilty of treason for his actions, since he had initiated hostilities without the approval of the Council. The next emperor, with approval from the council, had then initiated diplomatic relations that eventually led to a non-agression pact that still held to this day, and strong trade agreements that benefited both.<E>
21:44:47 [Gorim-Godsbeard] †- After a long and arduous disembarkation. Gorim Godsbeard was lead by four Praetorian Orks and four Ageis Dwarves. The elite body guards of the Imperator were made up of two different races, and classes for specific reason. Military advancement was the only sort Orks were able to see, being admitted into the Praetorian was only for the strongest, most ruthless of the Orks and privilaged them to the best of Dawrven master crafted weapons. It gave hope to the Ork masses that they could rise up beyond their labors. The sliver of hope four were privileged to, placated billions. When King Gorim was brought before the Imperial Presence he bowed, placing a fist on his armored chest. Gorim, was not nearly as tall as the Dragon Emperor, only 5'1 he was tall for a dwarf. Long golden lockes framed his countenance booling into a long, glorious beard braided intricately, laying down his chest. Golden hues lifted, illuminated, focused on Winter Wolf. "Greetings, Your Excellency. I am King Gorim Godsbeard. It <C>
21:50:31 [Gorim-Godsbeard] " is a pleasure to meet you." Godsbeard was well aware of what previous Emperors had attempted, what they desired for Clusium. Their greed had been the cornerstone for Clusiums founding as a civilization. Their failure had gifted three worlds to the Clusium civilization and been the first opportunity for the unleashing of Ork hordes, a horrendous event none wished to see again. Clusium's only war. No one had been willing to challenge them again after that. Not for fear of losing, but an unwillingness to put any peoples through the horrors that were inherent to the Ork race. I hope your voyage was pleasant. a smile crossed the Kings face, eyes moving about detailing the room, though with out visible irises it was hard to tell where he was looking.
21:56:49 Emperor_Winter-Wolf stood up as Gorim entered and bowed in turn "And it is a pleasure to meet you as well your Majesty, this meeting has long been overdue I think, and I am pleased to say that the Caledonian Empire still seeks only friendly relations with your people" as he smiled. Where Gorim stood only 5'1", Brennus stood over 7' in height, and his stance and build showed what he had been before his coronation a mere decade prior, a warrior. He had long brown hair and a matching brown beard that had been braided in an ancient Nord style that suited him, and he had intense ice blue eyes. His voice was strong, confident and deep, and there was a friendly overtone to his voice that showed that his words were sincere. He then sat down in the chair he had been sitting in "Its a shame that the Sky Marshal, Supreme Chancellor, and Empress of the other civilizations could not be here, but considering the difficulties their going through right now, its understandable" as he smiled. He then looked at Gorim<C>
21:58:15 Emperor_Winter-Wolf <C>"So, allow me to satisfy my curiosity, why did you wish for a meeting?" as he watched him. The table was designed in a circle and was quite large to accommodate potential leaders if needed, it had been the suggestion of a Caledonian diplomat, and had been deemed a wise suggestion and the suggestion had been followed through.<E>
22:08:46 [Gorim-Godsbeard] †- Gorim nodded slightly listening to his empty lamentations about the absence of the other notable dignitaries. A mild pause would linger between them before Gorim spoke up to answer. For tens of thousands of years, perhaps hundreds of thousands, Dwarves have lived beneath the surface. Be it in mountains, caves, or cities like the ones we have constructed. It has been the policy of Dwarves, to isolate themselves from the affairs of men. He paused for a moment, this approach was more round about than he hoped, but he wanted Winter wolf to see how these facts were connected. As a result, when Dwarves come under attack from.. say.. giants... or Dragons... we have few allies. I do not wish this to be the fate of Clusium. His smile fading. He knew that the Emperor believed in the Dragon Gods, what he did not know was if the so Called Dragon Gods were akin to their mountain-dwelling forbears in their lust for gold and dwarven treasure. It is my hope for the Clusian people to have friends

22:14:33 [Gorim-Godsbeard] "Ancient lore, as well as written history can have very telling truths about the path of a civilization. For my race, isolation and hubris have skipped hand in hand. For yours; lack of foresight and preparation, i think, have been problems. I asked for this meeting so that we might exploit each others strengths and over come our own weaknesses. His eyes trailed off into the distance his voice continuing on. We currently have a trade agreement, but these terms have not been negotiated in over a generation. We have a cease fire, which has sufficed as a peace accord for a hundred years. Perhaps it is time, we re-evaluate these terms. Talk Alliances and favorable trade terms. Godsbeard hoped to lower prices in exchange for military support. However if he got the support he wished for, there would be little stopping him from provoking war with Akkad.
22:22:27 Emperor_Winter-Wolf leaned back in his chair "Dragons you say? You must be refering to the Lesser Dragons, those not descended from the Dragon Gods, the True Dragons as my people know them, do not have a thirst for gold and gems, they are guardians of the balance between light and dark" as he smiled. He then looked at Gorim "Hmmm, I must admit that the lack of a true peace treaty has been troubling to me, and the current trade treaties do not take into account the current times we live in, however, I will not commit to any alliance without full knowledge" as he looked at Gorim. It was a sensible position to take, and it showed that Brennus was cautious and cared deeply for his people. While the Caledonians didn't fear war, they did not seek it out which was a well known and respected fact about them. Brennus himself was a veteran of countless battles during the two wars that the Caledonians fought against the Umbra Empire, though Umbran territories now belonged to the Caledonians who had been carefully<C>

22:32:26 [Gorim-Godsbeard] †- Peoples of Clusium shared no such reservations about war. Every one of the Billions of Orks loved nothing more than fighting half of the Dwarven ruling class had begun to worship the Blood God and 2/3rds of the humans living in Clusium descended from pirates. Their entire economy thrived on war profiteering. While Gorim's veteran status was not as illustrious as Brennus' it was safe to say that a war time economy best suited his population. Full Knowledge? Gorim asked casually, an eyebrow raised. What exactly are you looking for full knowledge of? If Winter Wolf thought that any Clusium factory would open up it's books for him he was sorely mistaken. Surely he did not expect Godsbeard to divulge the cost of production or even the location of his factories. Forgive me, Dwarves can be secretive by nature. If you are asking about our political ties and military expendatures I'd be happy to divulge. However, I cannot divulge the location of our cities, or require our private industry <
22:32:28 [Gorim-Godsbeard] <C>
22:33:58 [Gorim-Godsbeard] Open their books to you. I hope you understand. What Gorim thought Brennus was truly after was the price at which he was willing to sell ships to Akkad. Gorim would never tell either who was getting the better deal. Though he would allude to each that they were the prime customer.
