16:45:36 [Ria] Rain was a godsend on a hot, stressful day. The ratta-tat tat of heavy rain upon the hanger roof accompanied by rolling rumble of thunder and slashes of bright lightning, and occasional plink of droplets that had found a miniscule hole to get in through landed in a large bucket. It couldn't be the storm without a bit of bluster; the angry wind howling through the open door at the back of the building. Just imagining the storm that was to come was relaxing, giving Ria something to look forward to when she finished work for the day. For now though, she was trapped under a console in the cockpit of one of the many fleet ships. Today it was her job to replace old wiring, and worn out hardware, before reconfiguring some of the systems. What she wouldn't give to feel the cool rain as it soaked through her cloths, dampening her crimson hair, and creating little clean streaks along her arms and face after she'd been playing contortionist in an engine compartment. An involuntary sigh slipped from her, as she soldiered another wire into place after stripping away some of it's protective plastic to expose the hair fine metal conductor. The metal wiring had a proper name, which she didn't bother remembering. Her gift was in her work, not her mind. Ria was never good with quizzes anyway. It was a humid day, stress making her tired. Why could the dark clouds rolling through the sky not dump their heavy rain upon this place, and return to take another elsewhere in the world later? What she would not give, some days, to be a weather mage, or something. Certainly the military needed one of those, and would pay good money that could support her family while Ria continued to tinker in her free time? Except she was no good with magic. It showed every time she got angry or was feeling overburdened and something accidentally went kaboom. she was damned good with her hands though, and could move things easily enough. Otherwise she wouldn't even be here.
17:07:51 Yelena finally settled herself down in one place wanting to put down some form of roots. With this place no one knew who she was or where she had come from. It was nice to have a completely clean slate. It didn’t take her long to find a place to set herself up even finding an empty store to open. It took time but soon everything was done and ready to be open. Her spirits were high and she happily opened the door to her shop clothing hanging in the windows and on several mannequins scattered about the store floor. For a brief moment she stood outside the shop looking around the others around her wondering if hers would become as popular as theirs. Her knowledge of the people was limited but it didn’t matter much this had nothing to do with them. Waving to some people walking past her she smiled retuning to the shop perching herself behind a small table full of fabrics and items to sow with. That same sweet smile played across her face as she waited her foot idly tapping the ground.
17:11:41 [DG_GM] .:The discussions between Emperor Tigeir, his advisors, Marshal Warsworn, and several of the Councilors from the Council of Lords had finally come to an end. Now a Custodes Legatus was on his way to Princess Veda's quarters to bring her to the Emperor. Much had been decided, and now was the time for Veda to know, though the Emperor himself prefered to be the one to tell her. The Emperor was hoping that Veda would like what was decided better than had previously been decided. Marshal Warsworn himself had spoken against it, knowing full well the grief and pain she was going through, and he was unwilling to put more stress on her, plus his duties as Marshal of the IV Legion kept him deployed from home for great lengths of time, and he felt he didn't have the time to help her as she needed. So alternative arrangements had been decided upon, and this time, she was going to be in for a huge shock.:.
17:32:17 Andreas` was in his own office at the palace, in a meeting with the Police Comissioner for the capital city. He held a datapad with an Information Lacrima inserted into the receiving port, his eyes narrowed as he looked at the report. He then looked at the Commissioner "Now I see why you brought this to me, while you can't do anything, my position as Lord Marshal and as a Prince of the Imperial Family allows me to do what you can't" as he frowns. He then took a scroll of parchment, an authorization for arrest, and quickly filled it out with the necessary information. He then signed it and placed both his seal as Lord Marshal and as a Prince on it before handing it to the Commissioner "I'm sure the Wataru family will be displeased, the last I knew, Lord Wataru was at his wit's end with his daughters stubborness and antics, this may be the last straw" as he shrugs. He was fairly certain that the Wataru Family didn't know their daughter had been fighting in underground fighting rings. The police had learned of it shortly after the recent sting when they found her clothing, and managed to find out who it belonged to by the size of the clothing, as well as tracker hounds that had followed her scent. The police couldn't do much against a noble family, which was why the police commissioner himself had been contacted and then the commissioner had come to the Lord Marshal, who had jurisdiction over the police.
17:37:26 Veda` had been within the Palace’s grounds for several hours earlier in the day, she had lost track of time. Having helped the staff on hand who were assisting the Unicorn mares who were giving birth, the Princess had actually been content for a while, watching happily as the babes whimpered at their mother’s sides… drinking their first sips of milk, and gradually opening their bright eyes to the world around them. It was quite a sight to see! And Veda had to admit, it was a sight her father would have loved to see as well. Her mind tracing back to the stories he had told her as a child about the magical beasts, and what they symbolized and represented to the galaxy as a whole. … This in turn had made her realize though, that he was gone. She would never see his heavily bearded face smirking her way, yelling to his brothers, nor kissing her mother’s lips. –And so… after several hours of ignorant bliss, the Princess had decided to retire back to her chambers. Her Sclabhais accompanied her back to the rooms, slipping past her presence momentarily to open the balcony doors and allow some fresh air inside… as it seemed a tad stuffy inside the immaculate bedroom.:: “Thank you.” ::She nodded to them all as the three young women went about their business, pulling back the covers for the Princess, and also pouring her a cold beverage before giving her some much needed space. … And after a restful midday, Veda awoke to three pairs of pretty eyes staring down at her. …She blushed a little. Clearing her throat as she slowly sat up from her bed, raising a brow at the curious beings.:: “Is everything alright?” ”Oh! YES! Yes Princess! We were just watching you sleep… All of us were hesitant to wake you!” “Wake me?” ::Veda found herself laughing slightly at their antics. Gently pushing the covers from her slender frame as she slipped her legs over the edge of the bed while sitting up.:: “Yes! It seems the Council, the Emperor, as well as his advisors have just finished a meeting--- and they wish to speak with you about some important matters!” ::Veda raised a brow in curiosity?:: “Matters?” ::To be honest… the Fae Princess was completely clueless to all things Caledonian. Especially matters that were in relation to her as a ward here. But… with that said, she gave a solemn nod. Pulling herself up from the bedside and stretching her agile frame before giving a warm smile to the ladies ways.:: “Well… shall we?” ::All three Sclabhais smiled a bit brighter at the vision of their Mistress engaging in them, nodding enthusiastically as they adjusted her peach shaded gown while they walked towards the doors, and then out of them all together. Veda let them fuss over her, as… it was getting rather obvious to her that these women were placed in her service to… well… serve, as it will. And it seemed to make them happy by helping her? So! She went with it for now. Turning down the corridor to meet with these men who suddenly had her entire future in their hands! Lovely…. ::

17:42:07 Ai_Wataru was currently eating dinner with her family, but not saying much of anything. Her father was spouting off something about having to choose a suitor. She kept her mouth shut about it -- she'd heard every rebuttal already, about how it was important to choose a suitor early so you could grow the necessary bond with them, about how it was her duty to serve her family by marrying the best she could... which was why she was given the suitors she was. The girl in question didn't even realize that she was already tracked down, that it took only a day since the raid for them to actually have found out who was there. She knew it was illegal, yes, but she hadn't thought the law would go to such lengths to find one escapee. She had possibly misjudged the severity of the crime that underground fighting imposed. Still, for now, the girl was eating quite calmly and quietly at her home.
17:53:42 [DG_GM] .:It would be at this time that a team of police officers would arrive at the Wataru Family household, a mage accompanying them. The senior officer would approach the door and slam his fist on the door to ensure that no one missed it. As soon as anyone answered the door, the officer would present a copy of the arrest authorization and request that Ai Wataru be brought out immediately on the charge of illegal fighting in the underground circuit. The severity was serious, since the illegal fighting rings did not have the protections and safety features of the official gladiatorial arena's. The illegal fighting rings caused issues with the health care system, and cost honest tax payers hundreds of millions in eburones yearly. The officers would then wait for the inevitable reaction of the head of the Wataru family, the mage already having put up a barrier to prevent any escapes by any means.:.<
17:58:39 Ai_Wataru 's ear twitched as she heard something pulling up. It was... not a normal guest. The knock on the door proved that. The head of house excused himself, and Ai followed momentarily after, getting up daintily like she should have for the example she needed to set. And then... she heard it. The head of house was positively glowering, telling her to get down there, now. She supposed if they had decided to go this far in tracking down a single fighter, they probably had better measures to keep her here than when they did their raid. So, she came down, slowly, her hands together in front of her so the sleeves of the dress coincided so she her hands couldn't be seen. Indeed, there was a mage on the premesis. That meant a barrier was likely up. "Ai! Is this what you have been doing instead of what we told you to do?!" he asked, glowering at her. Of course, she couldn't read the note shoved in her face. "They say they found clothes that had your scent on them at an illegal fighting ring, And not only that, that the clotehs were one of the contestants!" She closed her eyes -- which was entirely unnecessary, but for emphasis. "Yes, it's true. I was getting tired of my life being directed for me. I wanted to do my own thing, be my own person." She opened her eyes again, showing those milky whites. "And you'd never let me. All you cared about was marrying me off to the highest bidder. I heard your whispers with Mother about even getting my bones fixed and making me a Sclabhai. I was tired of it." She looked at the guards, debating if she should try. If she did, and it didn't work, it was going to be even worse for her. But she was already in hot water, it seemed, if they brought a mage with them. Well, here it goes! The girl slammed her bare foot into the ground, causing pillars to launch themselves at the military men, hoping to fling them up to the roof of the house, and hopefully to break the Mage's concentration on the barrier. If that was done, she'd blast herself forward with her wind, trying ot get out of range of the barrier before the mage collected him or herself and put it back up. If it didn't work, she'd swipe wind to try and push the mage off-balance for the same effect. THe head of house? Well, he fell back on his arse and crawled back -- he hadn't known just how powerful his daughter was. After all, she hadn't been taught by anyone!
17:58:44 Emperor_Tigeir was waiting in his office when Veda was led inside by the Custodes Legatus that had been sent to escort her. He was sitting behind his desk when she entered and he smiled gently to her as he motioned to a seat "Please, have a seat princess, there is much to discuss, but I will tell you that you will no longer be marrying Marshal Warsworn" as he smiled. Marshal Warsworn himself was absent, as he had had business elsewhere to deal with, a matter of the IV Legion being needed on the border to deal with a small crisis that they were uniquely suited to deal with. Once she was seated, he would smile gently to her "After much discussion princess, it has been decided that you shall be my wife, this will also protect your people from those that would seek to take advantage of your people" as he smiles gently to her. He knew it was going to be a huge shock to her, but it was decided and that was what was going to happen.
18:08:54 [DG_GM] .:Unfortunately for Ai, the police and the mage were used to dealing with mages and other types of abilities. As soon as they saw her start to move, they spread out around her in the spacious foyer. Three drew out their pistols, set them for stun and fired several rounds at her after she caused the pillars to erupt. As for the mage, he had remained outside with the vehicles, so was unaffected by Ai's actions, so the barrier would remain in effect. If the stun rounds hit, Ai would find herself unable to move or use her abilities and the officers would place her hands behind her back and place cuffs on her that would keep her from using her abilities. Once that was done, she would be taken to a cruiser, and soon find herself in the local police precinct, though fortunately she would be in a cell by herself. It would likely take time to process her, and by that time, her father and mother would likely have come to a decision on what to do with her.:.<E>
18:19:29 Ai_Wataru was only 12, only used to fighting one-on-one. Still, she had to try. She set up a wind barrier around herself, but that only prolonged the inevitable. As soon as the barrier fell, the tasers were already there, and she fell to the ground, crying out. "You're all assholes, only caring about your damn money." she sputtered, as she was cuffed and led away. Without her abilities... she was truly blind. She couldn't see. It was... frightening. Scary. After she sputtered, she started shaking, crying. She was blind, for the first time in years. Truly blind. Only able to see blackness. Even in the cell, she only lay on her bed, provided she was still cuffed so she couldn't use her powers to try and escape. She couldn't move, was too afraid to. She was afraid of no man, of no challenge... but being unable to even see anything -- it made her helpless, powerless. The feeling she had been trying to escape from when she went to the underground arenas. She already knew what her parents would decide. Whatever gave them the most money -- likely the route of fixing her bones and becoming Sclabhai. A servant. Someone who had no will of their own -- whose only will was their owners, their master's. That wasn't her life. But... how to escape it? Could she?
18:26:59 Veda` ---As she was guided inside the Emperor’s study, the Fae born woman could tell something had changed in the air since her last conversation here, amongst all those Elite yesterday. Holding her composure in tacked though, Veda remembered herself, bowing graciously to the Emperor himself before thanking the man for the chair offered her. –Gently she would sit, eyes wandering from the men who had met and escorted her to this distinct destination, and then back to Emperor Tigeir. As they backed from the room, the Princess felt a small unease round into her stomach. What was going on…? Then-:: “What?” ::When she spoke, she couldn’t help but be so relieved over his first set of words, she BARELY caught that last bit! A rush of emotions and rigor pumping through her Fae veins as she tried to circulate what was said.:: “I-…” ::She was speechless. … Yes. A definite first! Clearing her throat, she tried to continue-:: “I… your Grace. First. Let me thank you for the decision on behalf of myself and… Marshal Warsworn. I shall undoubtable be indebted to you always for coming to such a conclusion, and thus entrusting my happiness above all else, but-“ ::She hesitated… Gradually meeting his eyes after a moment of time now. Breath catching in her lungs as she tried her best to connect words with thought.:: “You and I Sir? …I-“ ::Yes. It was clearly obvious. She was perplexed! –Not to marry the Marshal, well! That was one thing! But to marry the Emperor of the Caledonian Empire!? And… the way he spoke of it. The whole situation was so… odd. She held her chin high though. Trying yet again to get her thoughts more soundly onto him.:: “I am a mere Fae woman your Grace. I- My title most likely means little to this world you live in! Your council and advisors must have been mistaken in offering this alternative to you. I am not suitable.” ::She shook her head lightly enough… Still completely taken aback by this new resolution! I mean! VEDA!? An Empress!? She might have been the eldest back home… but indeed, she still acted on her own accord much of the time! Dropping her bow and arrows on the dining table before supper, not telling her mother and father where she was wandering off too in the forest, OH! And yes, this was the SAME Veda who had a stubborn streak like no other in Hjaalmarch! … Did the Emperor really think this was a wise decision!? …Of course, the entire time she sat before him, bustling in her chair like an alarmed bumble bee! One could also see her tenacity! And how unknowingly beautiful she was when she was taken by surprise! …Was he going along with this for the good of his Empire? Or- dare we say it! Did Emperor Tigeir find this little, Fae Princess interesting?? Hmmm….::
18:34:33 Emperor_Tigeir smiles as he watched her going through everything he had said in her mind as he leaned back in his chair. He did indeed find her interesting, and it was good for the empire as well, and while he would have considered it in any event, the fact that Marshal Warsworn, and both Councilors thought it was a good match had tipped the balance. He then spoke in his strong confident voice "You are no mere Fae Woman Veda, you are the eldest princess of your people with a strong and proud lineage, you are also beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, and above all else, you are not afraid to be yourself, it is something that many of my peoples own Noble Families have forgotten, most concerned over appearances and status" as he smiled at her. He then looked out the window, where the Imperial Gardens were visible "You also have something they lack, a mysterious ability that made the unicorns trust you without hesitation, it took even myself three years to gain their trust" as he looked at her with a smile. What he didn't tell her because he didn't think it important enough to be thought about was that she had powerful magic, and any children she had would be very powerful indeed, especially considering her soon to be husband himself was a powerful Warrior-Mage.
18:51:50 Andreas` had been contacted by the Wataru Family only moments after their daughters arrest. After speaking with them at length for a short time, he met Ai's father and mother at the police precinct she was being held in. He would then walk into the station with them, taking them both over to the Police Captain in charge of the precinct. When he saw Ai, he noticed immediately the stress of not being able to use her senses to see, and using his own magic, adjusted the cuffs so that they would allow her to be able to use her wind magic to see by. He would then look back at Ai's parents as they spoke with the captain, discussing their options. Andreas could see that Ai's parents were at their wits end on what to do with her, but he wouldn't interfere with their decision, since it was theirs to make.

19:02:50 Ai_Wataru had only her other senses to get around, and while she was confined to the bed for fear of slipping or something, she heard... people, coming in and talking. And then... the silhouettes came rushing back. The cuffs... seemed different somehow. Like they were laying on her wrists differently. She sat up, on the bed, looking at who had come in. "... Who are you?" she muttered, as the parents spoke. "... If you're curious as to what they're going to do, I already know." she sighed. "Well, not exactly, but they'll choose the option that gives them the most money. Might as well get some investment out of the troublesome daughter that they had tried to keep secret from the rest of the world, right?" A forced laugh, as she lay back on the bed, looking up. "... Which probably means I'll end up a Sclabhai, after they fix my bones. If they're even wanting to spend that investment." A shake of her head.
19:03:29 Veda` sat stoic before him now… His words sincere, but still… she had never been much for compliments. The tiniest of blushes forming to her pristine cheeks as she studied him for a few seconds, wondering how on in the Gods after 141 years, THIS fateful puzzle piece was being dropped in her lap! …And though she tried to think of many excuses here and there for his counter claims, … she knew it would be foolish to question his observations of her. For indeed, most of them were true. Though! The beautiful bit, she overlooked for now. Glancing down at her hands a moment, before returning those hazel hues his way.:: “My father would have loved to see them…” ::She let the comment settle around them a moment, then-:: “We all thought they were extinct. …I suppose the ones you’ve cared for here only picked up on my bloodline, as the Faeries and Unicorns have always shared a bond… long before they were taken or killed in the Hjaalmarch Galaxy.” ::A small sigh fell from her lips as she faltered her side somewhat to the chair she sat in. Eyes wandering from her hands, to the desk, and then back to the Emperor.:: “You have your heirs… Any children we would have together would be inconsequential…” ::-Though… once she said that out loud, she realized… that was rather a good thing in her eyes! Veda had always hated the hardship and weight she had felt growing up, knowing that the future and rank of her family would fall onto her own shoulders.:: “I want to keep my family safe your Grace. …If this is what is expected of me, if this is what you want, then… I trust onto you the judgement.” ::Veda nodded thoughtfully.:: “I only hope your people do not come against you for it.” ::-There was indeed a seriousness in her tone as she spoke her last words. …Because, in the end… though he WAS the Emperor, the people were the ones who truly ruled. If they did not approve of this match… Veda would be confined to a life of misery here… A misery most new sovereigns wished to never experience!::
19:12:11 Emperor_Tigeir chuckles "You will be relieved to know that we do not select our heirs based on one being the oldest child of the ruler, rather, we choose them based on ability, character, and in their leadership skills, currently, my second eldest son, Andreas, is in line for being named Heir" as he smiles. He then leaned back in his chair "As for the people, unlike in other civilizations, I do not need to worry about choosing a wife, my son Andreas, his mother was a Sclabhai, much like the three young Sclabhai given to you, among my people, it is considered an honor to be born from a Sclabhai, particularly a Gold or Platinum rank because they are considered the most geneticly pure" as he smiles. He then leaned forward "I do want this, I find you very interesting, and as for Caledonian Unicorns, they were hunted in the past, so much so that by the time we Nord were able to respond, there was only four herds left, now there are over twenty herds roaming the Imperial Gardens, and over three...hundred herds on our neighbor world in this system, which we turned into a nature preserve world, and it is closely guarded by one of our best Tibyn Arytissi chapters, the Crimson Mustangs" as he smiles at her.

19:18:03 Andreas` looked at Ai as she spoke, but didn't respond as it wasn't his place to do so, it was her parents decision. Finally, her parents came to their final decision, which as Ai said, they had decided to contract her into being a Sclabhai. They would also pay for the expensive procedure to have her weak skeletal structure corrected and fixed. What he didn't expect was her parents asking him to be her Jarl when she finished training at the Sclabhai Academy. He blinked, taken offguard by their request, but there was no way for him to decline without seeming like an asshole. He sighed as he signed the paperwork, as well as signing the promise of payment when she finished her training. He then looked over at Ai, thinking on just how long it would take for her to complete her training, especially considering her spirit. A short time later, Ai was taken to a local hopsital to be prepped for the procedure, and he went with them to observe, her parents going back to their home after making the payment and getting a copy of the Lord Marshal's signed promise.<E>
19:23:04 Ai_Wataru was a bit surprised, too. Signing her off to... him? Interesting. She didn't expect someone from the military, even a high ranking one, to have that kind of money. Or were they asking for less just to get rid of her? Whichever it was, it was time for the operation, though it seemed there was prep to be done, and Andreas was still there. "... Well, this is it, I guess, huh? The last moments of my own will, being spent making sure I'm perfect so I can be the best will-less woman I can be, right?" She closed her eyes, letting the people do what they needed. Not that she really could do much against it, anyway, as it was likely she was still kept under some kind of magical restraint so she didn't try to escape again. She looked away from the man, not sure what else to say to him. Where was she looking? Well, nowhere in particular, and though her eyes were filled with murk, they seemed to convey perfectly the dread she felt for what was going to become of her.
20:34:23 [Breton-Cynderheart] The Litany of Purity had been turned inwards towards the home-world of Babylon. With the emperor safely within Akkadian space and all dignitaries and officers recalled to secure locations with orders to return to the same; the Akkadians once moer started to push the boundaries of what was acceptable. By all accounts the private mission to Gideon, a planet in the un-colonized and un-claimed space near Caledonian territory; had been entirely successfull and the man responsible for bringing the Emperor back what was to be the first planetary core in his collection was returned to a safe place on Babylon. Breton had taken a certain liking to him. Not the sort to send out flowers and chocolates sort of liking, but the sort that was dangerous to anyone else involved. Chimaeria wasn't in stasis, this meant something terrifying. Drugged up and " relaxed " the man was being fitted with a personal... mechanized space-suit. Battle-Mech as it were. They were taking the appropriate measurements and vital necessaries to install the latest Akkadian " super skeleton " into the man. That would work with ... gods knows what. Something like that was never done lightly, and by all records of the procedure the scientists performing this gross procedure weren't amateurs to it. They'd done it before. Breton himself had one. The only problem was, not many survived such a thing. Their bodies couldn't handle the stress of the augmentation. The Emperor clasps his hands behind his back and smirks lightly beneath his hood; safe behind an observing wall. " Are you pleased, Chimaeria? Soon you will be unleashed upon world after world, becoming a harbinger in your own right. " His voice echoed on the speakers in the room, slightly coarse from the static miss-translation. In Akkadian, the words sounded far darker than they were meant to be. " Many more will follow you! "
20:55:04 [Chimæria`] Had done a very good job, he'd sated his lust for death and destruction, quenched it for the time being. It would seem the master was pleased with his acquisition of his very first planetary core. Chim was actually pleased to not be in cryostatsis finally, able to actually stretch his legs and wings. Standing there as the necessities were taken for his 'Super Skeleton'. Not only was impenetrable to most known forms of standard bullet caliber, but now in his own right he was becoming a certifiable god...as stated, in his own right! Clearing his throat, he stared at himself and grinned, looking up to him. "We are pleased." He spoke, his first words in about a century, his vernacular however was the oddest thing about him. Chimæria had a dual vernacular, incorporating both male and female vocals. Staring up toward the 'skybox' as it were, he glanced toward the many scientiests whom and put him through countless decibels of pain and anguish. Right now he was trying to decide to kill them...violently.
21:30:10 [Breton-Cynderheart] Chimaeria was considerably family. That is to say, he was being made into the son Breton would never have... at this rate. Given all of his attention, all of his resources, most of his time at this particular moment. " This will be painful. We are not sorry. " Were the last words he spoke before the surgeons began their attempts. Rudely, large needle like spikes attached to the mettalic spine that had been hanging nearby imbedded themsleves into his nervous system. It felt like one was being nailed to a metal wall. The spine had not yet been linked with the new monster. And thus was rigid and on a relative state of lockdown until such a time that the AI was programmed. That particfular AI was still being forced into developement. Chimaeria had brought back a single woman. Her name had never been known by the Akkadians, they simply didn't care enough to find out. But her brain-mapping was being cloned to create an artificial intelligence core. Afterwards she would be raped by technology, used for expieriements and likely wrapped up in pretty silk and sent to the Genlai as a " gift ". Of course the latter of which has yet to happen, and likely never would. The " donor " brains rarely ever survived the terrifying procedure. Their AI bodies were left fractured and only partially developed. The Akkadians installed them into some criminals to " dumb down " their urges. Chimaeria's.... AI wife so to speak, however had been targetted as particularly devilish. The planet they had hit had held some scientists seeking to escape the control of any of the factions to develope purely scientific things. She'd been a geologist, if the records proved to be true. Thus, a suitable fit for his planetary pillager. In his mind, Breton patted CHimaeria's head like the war-dog he was. The procedure continued, providing Chimaeria didn't thrash about wildly and rip his own spine out. Someone was wheeling a strange device out of a slender hallway to his left. It looked almost like a heart, but glowed far-brighter in the well lit room than should have been possible! Warm to the touch, this thing looked ( Again we say looked ) like a minature core. Likely it was a magnetized remnant from the debris of a planet the Exterminatus had destroyed. Found to be mineral heavy enough to stand up to the task of being a battery to the new suit Chimaeria was to inherit. Breton taps his fingers together. That was a very expensive toy. It would be a shame if it was destroyed before it could be installed.
21:47:45 [Chimæria`] To be considered family finally was actually quite touching...and disgusting at the same time, such vileness he felt. But still, touching just the same! "Pain is but a memory letting you know you're still alive..." he spoke before laying down on the bed, refusing any sort of pain killer or anesthesia , he wanted to be alive for every cut...every slice. Of course there were violent screams of agony, so he'd be strapped dwn entirely so he didn't move...didn't budge, preventing him from moving period, utterly immobilizing him. Being pat on the head, strange Serpentillian language bellowed from his vocals, sounding much like violent cursing at the scientists, but he'd agreed to this...it was his gift the came with a price...it also allowed him to roam around unchecked, for it had preventative measures right? [excuse the shortness, batteries dying grabbing the charger]
21:59:58 [Breton-Cynderheart] Everything had its price. Chimaeria was going to be equipped with what could be considered a space age implantable concience. His AI friend. Who would be responsible for keeping him in check, keeping him from harming himself and anyone the Empire actually valued. It would have relative control over the machines that were about to make him into a weapon. Attaching themselves now along his arms, around his ribs, into his chest cavity. She would, in times of great need simply lock him down, turning him into a furious statue. But ah, it would give him a personality that he'd be forced to interact with. Something that was sentient, something he couldn't get rid of with a flick of the wrist. It was going to be interesting. But for all the screams, several hours later the procedure would have been installed. The straps removed and the man left on his back. He could move, but it would feel stiff as the metal fought against him. Breton was still watching.
22:17:39 [Chimæria`] Nice touch, with the AI being implanted into him during surgery, though he would of argued against it, it would have been done anyway, right? For the safety of the Empire. He may have been family to the Emperor, a son he never had, granted it was a good chance Chim was far older than Breton. Through all the screams, all the violent outbursts and Serpentillian vulgarity, Chim was finally complete, the new and improved one, various aspects of metal tattered his body . You thought it was hard to kill him without all this, now it was going to be literally nearly impossible. The planet killer rose up stiffly. His vision was blurred for the moment, taking time to adjust from the pained tears keeping his eyes shut. Exhaling sharply, he clicked his tongue and examined himself. "Perfect, we love it." He spoke, glancing up toward Breton as he finally stiffly swung his legs over the table and stood up, wobbling a bit before finally adjusting an rolling his neck. Flapping his wings, he glanced to them as well, would they be able to keep him up in the air? Most likely Breton was taking that into consideration as well, working on strengthening his wings somehow, right? Tapping his chest, he stared at it and licked his lips. His heart had been somewhat removed, placed by what looked like the 'Planetary Core' he'd ascertained. Again, we stress the words 'looked like' Reeeeaddd looookkkkeeeed lliiikeee just in case we're unclear <3
22:21:02 [Breton-Cynderheart] " This is only the beggining. "Came the dark coarse voice from the box above. It was the only thing he'd hear before breton dissapeared. The mech-suit would take time for him to make to the exact size of Chimaeria. So that it would fit him like a glove. No less than perfect artifacts were to be made. But for now. The AI was his warden, his poor... deranged warden.
22:46:25 Praetia came from the outer fringes of Akkadian space; Inquisitorial ships painted blacker than the deepest shadows phasing back into realspace above Babylon, hailing security forces with simple messages, flashing Inquisitorial codes. Above Babylon, the Exterminatus fleet began to dock with the necessary stations, locking easily into bays reserved for agents of the Inquisition. Whispers would be starting; the Inquisition was an arm of the God-Emperor, one of his greatest tools in the Empire's arsenal. Beholden of absolute power in the Emperor's name, they were both respected and highly feared. And eyt, despite the great fuss....upon the planet's surface, there was no telling who belonged to the Inquisition. Amongst the normal civilians and crewman, there was just another passenger. Black heels clicked lightly as she walked, black dress swirling easily about her legs. A light voice hummed softly, casually. The Inquisition had arrived....and not a single person on the planet would be able to identify the pale-haired, crimson-eyed female as the Lady inquisitor herself. Praetia Drivakis, Inquisitor in the service of the Emperor and commander of the Akkadian Fleet Exterminatus. She had returned to the seat of the Empire.
