11:08:30 Imaskari NPC Ambassador Krezuvyr and two attendents emerge from a portal unarmed, as it opens within sight of the Caledon capital city, in an area previously surveyed by an imaskari scouting probe. Dressed in dark greatcoats worn over regulatory survival gear and holocom bracers, they strolled towards a nearby road if such existed, or searched the area for passing vehicles as they approached the city itself.
11:20:03 [DG_GM] .:When the three people arrived, a local police officer happened to spot them and he warily approached the three on his hover-bike. When he came into talking distance he would stop "Pardon, but do you three need help?" as he looked at them. They were odd looking fellows, thats for sure, but then again, he had seen enough odd looking people to not really be surprised. He would then calmly wait for their response, though he did take a moment to call in to headquarters on the appearance of the three.:.<E>
11:37:33 Imaskari NPC Ambassador Krezuvyr stepped forward and nodded respectfully towards the police officer. Utilizing an ongoing magical effect to translate everything he heard spoken and to render his own speech comprehensible by all who could hear it, he spoke in response, "We are new to this system and wish to make contact with the highest form of diplomatic authority both available and willing to grant us an audience, for ourselves and those whom we represent. We will comply with all security protocols that are lawfully required to facilitate such a meeting.”
11:41:34 [DG_GM] .:The officer blinked "Alright, I don't know who you would talk to for that but..." as he was interupted by his com unit. He listened for a few moments "Understood sir, so they will be going straight to Targenhold? Oh, I see, so the Emperor sensed their arrival, yes sir, I understand" as he looked back at the three visitors. He nodded "Apparently the emperor himself sensed your presence and has seen a shuttle to pick you up and take you directly to the imperial palace, we call it Targenhold" as he looked to his right. He pointed to the shuttle that was fast approaching before he got back to his patrol, and a moment later, the shuttle landed, and a door on the side opened up and a small step ladder extended to the ground for ease of boarding.:.<E>
11:52:04 Imaskari NPC Ambassador Krezuvyr smiled and thanked the officer, as one of his attendants boarded the vessel before him and examined it quickly before nodding back to the Krezuvyr and his other attendant. Once all three had boarded, the ambassador and one of his attendants looked over the city passing below, while the other kept his eyes on the vehicle, its pilot and other occupants, if such could be seen. If the pilot or other occupants offered information as they flew, the holocom bracers worn by the ambassador and his attendants were set to record it.
12:18:16 Emperor_Winter-Wolf stood by the window of his officer, his eyes narrowed in thought as he watched the shuttle making its way to the landing pad near the far wall across from the palace. He had indeed sensed the visitors arriving, and knew why they had failed to appear in the city itself. The city was surrounded and protected by a powerful barrier that prevented unauthorized magic from being used within the city. It was maintained by a series of massive lacrima crystals easily visible throughout the city. If one were to draw straightlines from each tower to the next, it would resemble a spider's web. The city itself was beautiful to behold with graceful soaring spires with magical lights everywhere, and surrounded by lush greenery. Only the slums, universal areas of any city did not share the appearance, though at one time they had, but due to the rise of gangs and black market trade, it was difficult for the City Guard to patrol those areas, and there just wasn't enough resources to finance the manpower needed to<C>
12:19:02 Emperor_Winter-Wolf <C>clean out and rebuild them. So now they were considered a necessary evil, as they and the red light district kept crime in other areas of the city to a minimum.<E>
12:29:13 Imaskari NPC Ambassador Krezuvyr disembarked from the shuttle after one of his two attendants had, and all three waited at the near edge of the landing pad to be led by whomever showed up to lead them to the meeting area. With senses enabled by ongoing divinations to perceive nearby auras that often limned persons, objects and locations under the effect of magic, the ambassador and one of his attendants would glance about to examine them, while the third among them kept his awareness focused on the more mundane aspects of their surroundings and the caledonians within.
